For the Uncanny Enthusiasts!
This post is in response to the Creators Hub’s prompt — who is my ideal reader?
To my present and future readers,
If there is something you must know about me, it is that I consider myself a fantasy writer both in fiction and poetry. I have grown to love reading some literary fiction, and have been wanting to explore it (and others) in my writing. Someday.
Meanwhile, the current “fantasy” I have written exists in some of my poetry. Though, they’re mainly about reapers, or phoenixes, or dragons, or stars dying. The “fantasy” I write have been inspired by game lore, anime, mythology, and such.
Therefore, if you’re reading this, please note that I am not your typical fantasy writer. I am not and will not be as amazing a writer as Tolkien, George R.R. Martin, J.K. Rowling, or anyone else you may know of. My protagonist may be a loner, a horny centaur, or your normal adventurer.
I, for the most part, write for myself. However, my hope is that you will be open-minded about whatever I decide to write. If you like fiction, I hope to meet half of your expectations. If you like poetry, I hope you’ll enjoy it.
I hope you’ll be engaged with my writing, whether it is fantasy or literary.
Thank you for reading!
